Chapter Two
The following day, Esther resumed to work as early as possible to prepare Elora's breakfast. On getting to the kitchen, She realized that that spices she needs to prepare fried rice is not available. She had to go into Elora's room, Unknown to her that Adam was in there with her.
The moment she opened the door, She met Adam kissing Elora as she woke up from bed. Elora got angry and ordered her to go on her kneels for entering her room carelessly.
"Sometimes, I wonder if you're intelligent. How dare you Esther?" She barked at her.
"Am.... sorry Elora,It....was actually a mistake. I......never mean to"Esther apologized.
"Listen attentively,I am no longer your friend! I am your Boss, because you work under me, I pay you, I feed you, I clothing you, I give you shelter. Next time you have anything to say, Accord me with some respect. I don't care if you're older than me or not!"
"Okay.....ma" Esther felt embarrassed infront of Adam. She raised up and left the room in tears and regret.
"Elora, That....was rude. I.... taught she's your best friend." Said Adam.
"Babe, Not anymore. She's a slave, My house maid."
"It doesn't matter Elora,You were rude to her. Why are you so saucy?"
"Adam.....that is enough! You...said you're famished?" She Asked.
"Do you want to cook?" He also asked.
"Esther will cook, right?" She smiled at him.
"I want to eat your meal, you're my girlfriend. It..... shouldn't be Esther all the time."
"Oh......please....Adam! You....know she has been the one cooking. I..... can't cook, don't you understand??? I was never taught that way and am not ready to learn.
"Wow!" He laughed out loud.
"What is.... funny?" She folded her arms in anger.
"Am....just laughing over your stupidity. Your nonchalant attitude over everything is ruining your life. Elora, What exactly can you do? Just.....sex???"
"Adam, You're...... insulting me"
"You are....just to proud of yourself. I should keep on eating Esther's meal, I can't even taste your's. Anyways, Of course, I will eat her meal because she's a good cook" He took his phones on the bed and walked out on her.
"Adam! Come.....back!" She burst into tears.
He met Esther inside the kitchen washing plates.
"Esther " He called her
"Sir.... you're here" She washed her hands and turned to him.
"Yes...... I'm sorry for what happened in there"
"It's....... fine sir. Am....used to her already "
"She's my girlfriend, I... can't hurt her too much. I would have insulted her"
"I.... understand sir" She smiled at him. "I....am famished, Have you prepared anything?" He asked childishly.
"Oh..... nothing yet sir, Am...,sorry"
"But.....i am... famished " He held his stomach.
"You don't like persevered foods sir, Should i just prepare noodles for you?"Asked Esther.
"Oh.....okay, That will be nice. Let me just wait here for you"
"Okay.....sir" She turned back at home and smiled.
Elora rushed into the kitchen, weeping profusely.
"Baby girl, What is it?" Adam asked.
"Am..... sorry " She hugged him and wiped off her tears with his shirt.
"You haven't changed yet. Alright, I have forgiven you,stop shedding tears like a baby" He pecked her forehead.
"Adam.....you said the only thing i know is s*x, Then....then...i will stop having it with you" She pushed his head and hissed on him.
"Elora, That was funny!" He laughed out loud.
"It isn't funny! I....will just take what belongs to you to someone else "
"You... won't do that, I know" He smacked her butt.
"Don't....do that again, Esther.....is here" She giggled.
"She's not a child. It.... seems you have something to say?" Asked Adam.
"Just.....two million naira from you"
"Elora, Just two million naira? I..... don't understand "
"You will give me right? Or.....i should just call one of your friends that you have refused to give me money "
"I....i will, But....am not with my cheque"
"You can do a transfer "
"Elora, I will do anything for you, you know that?" He pecked her nose.
"Yes.......Adam"
Chapter Three
An hour later, Esther served Adam his meal and he ate it without wasting time. He refused to give Elora out of the noodles, So she had to call Esther again to prepare another one.
"Adam.....you...are eating alone without your girlfriend"
"You wasted my whole energy last night"
"How....Adam?" She began to laugh.
"Why are you laughing? Naughty girl"
"Adam, You....wasted my energy. Wait, I want you to be more explicit "
"About the s*x we had? I...went hard on you, and you...also did same"
"Just.....keep quiet already. You haven't even had an unprotected s*x with me, Why is that?" She asked eargely.
"Well...... it's actually because....you don't want us to have a baby"
"Do you want a baby?" She asked.
"Yeah, I want a baby girl from you. But.... you're not ready to carry a child"
"Of course, I can't get pregnant for you. No one can tell what will happen in the future"
"Elora, it's you and i forever. I can never choose another lady over you. The craziest part of you is the reason why i haven't stopped loving you."
"Stop.... being emotional. I don't want to carry a baby, Am scared" She sat on his laps.
"Why...are you scared? Labour.......pains?"
"Yes......Adam. I..... don't want to experience the pains, I just.....want to stay without a child. I....am just twenty one, Maybe when i am thirty" She concluded.
"Elora, Do you know what menopause is called? Thirty.....years old is too far for us to have a baby. Babe, The only way i can get married to you legally is if you give birth now"
"That is a decision that i will make." She said.
"Stubborn girl" He rest her head on his chest.
"I love you so much Adam "
"I love you more, you know that."
Adam's friends "Daniel and Nelson" In a club at night. The both of them sat down beside each other on a couch, drinking alcohol.
"Daniel, I met Elora and her ex at a shopping mall yesterday" Said Nelson.
"Hmmm! Why were you there?" Asked Daniel.
"Sometimes, I wonder if you think the way humans do. I just said i met her with her ex, And you're asking what i went there for? I knew it before now that she's cheating on our friend. Adam needs to hear this"
"Nelson, You don't even have an evidence, So there is no way Adam would believe you. Just....forget about that, he would find out himself "
"That reminds me of "Esther" That.... pretty lady who is Elora's bestfriend "
"Oh... that's Esther? Did you meet her?
"Not....at all, She's just too pretty. Our friend should have chose her, instead of Elora" Daniel said.
"You're right Daniel, They suit each other very well. Adam is handsome, Esther is cute and vibrant like him"
