“Do you have a name?” She asked gently, cradling it to her form.
“Beasts do not get names.” Was its only answer.
“Well then, I suppose I will need to give you one. After all, we can’t just say “hey you” all the time, now, can we?” Heart stated kindly.
“How about the name Aylo?” The hunter asked, brushing back the thick locks that covered its face.
“Aylo? I am Aylo. I am Aylo!” The creature chanted, growing more excited the more they repeated their name.
“Yes, you are Aylo, and I am Heart. I am going to take over the mark now, OK? It might feel a little odd, but please just bare with it. You may feel your body change. Sometimes it happens other times people stay the same.” The woman warned, a smile on her lips as she took in the joy shining in their eyes.
