Asa's POV
I have been here for atleast a week, I cant really tell though since I cant even see the sun rise or fall given that we are underwater. That red hair lady has not been back to see me nor has my supposed father come to meet with me. I miss my parents on land they must be so worried about my disappearance. I miss my bestfriends and our crazy moments at school and at our favorite diner. I miss Christopher, the boyfriend I was taken away from before we even could enjoy each other's company. I start crying thinking just how good my life was and how in a blink of an eye everything changed. I stare at the beautiful sea surroundings and picture my real mother, was she beautiful, how did her mermaid tail look like? How did she feel when she took her last breath protecting me. I needed answers, someone needs to tell me everything.
I was drawn out of my thoughts by a tall man standing in front of me, his hair and some of his facial features looked like mine but he has solid black eyes compared to my blue ones. Could he be my birth father the king of the seas? "Hello there dear daughter. I must say you are a beauty just like your mother, may Zeus bless her soul. How does it feel to be back home? " I stand up from my seating position and walk closer to the vines he was standing next to. As I was closer to him I could analyze his features more clearly. He was no doubt my father.
"Why are you doing this to me" I found myself asking the man in front of me. "What did I ever do to you for you to treat me this way, am I not your seed?" He burst out laughing, which confused the hell out of me. "Oh but you are my seed dear daughter, I just don't give a damn about you. I will be damned if I let a female run my kingdom when I step down all in the name of the 1st born child. Your mother was nothing to me so you too mean nothing to me" I looked him in the eyes as he said all those cruel things. My father on earth looked at me with so much love and adoration and yet I was not his blood but here is this man in front of me who created me but yet he says I'm nothing to him. "You will be with us for a while, I need your brother to come to his full power and your body to transform back to that of our kind. Now that your mark has been revealed it's only a matter of time before your transformation begins" he says. "You need to die with your full power unlocked so your brother can take some of it"
I just stood there with no words and so confused. I missed home and the parents who love me. Why did this have to happen to me I asked myself as I let the tears run down my face. My father turned and walked away with a big smile on his face.
*On land*
Christopher's POV
I sat in my room bouncing a ball on the wall thinking about what could have happened to Asa (Assyria), who could have taken her? Surely by now the kidnappers should have asked for randsom. Could they have hurt her... the thought alone made me frustrated. There was nothing I could do to save the girl I loved. I smashed my fist on the wall from the frustration. "I need to talk to my dad, as an Alpha he would know what to do" I said to myself getting out the room door.
