Down memory lane

"Sire we are back from a successful trip on land" the soldier says

"Well done, you shall be rewarded generously. Now where is the little brat" the king asks

Before the soldier could respond the king's son walks in the throne room looking at his father for the princess news update. "I hope the steps to eliminating my half sister who threatens my line to the throne" he says. "Leave us" says the king to his soldiers

"Listen here Aegaea, I might be your father and raising you to take over the throne but never ever think that you are king now. I suggested next time you address me with respect" the king growls back at Aegaea the young prince.

The young prince simply nods and says "I apologize father for stepping out of line and he waits for his father's response.

"I'm told your older sister was brought back to our kingdom finally" as he runs his hands together. The king had bkeach blonde hair like Ava with iris black eyes. Aegaea resembled his father with the eyes. He was a trim built man with muscular build but leaner. He was a tall man, you can tell where Ava gets it from

"So what's your plan" the young 15 years old prince asks his father, "when do we get rid of her?" He asks sitting down next to him. "Your sister needs to die in order for you to fully inherit the power of the ocean. She currently holds Poseidon mark" the kings says. "What does the mark mean?"

*flashback* queen Cordelia 

"You have to help me hide her Aurora, my husband will hell her if he finds out the power she holds in her". "I do want to help you but the king will kill both of us if he finds out I was a part of this" Aurora says. "Do you not remember what the prophecy said Aurora, the 2nd born son will unleash hell not only underseas but on land as well, the only person who can stop him is the 1st born holding the mark of Poseidon himself" she says with tears in her eyes. "Do you think it's easy for me to give up my precious daughter and let someone else raise her?" Aurora stood there deep in thought looking at the queen before she could answer "we both know the power of Poseidon is from the gods, do you think she will be able to harness it when the time comes for her to do so?" The queen just smiled at her holding her new born as she played with her beautiful blonde hair and said "ofcourse, she has her mother's fighting spirit". "Very well then let's begin the spell, we dont have enough time, the king has discovered why you came here and they are on the way to get you" Aurora said as she poked the finger of the little princess with a needle to get a drop of her blood for her spell. "My son who was banished from the underwater world leaving on land will take care of her. Him and his human wife can't have kids and this will ne a great opportunity for them, no one will find her as I put a spell on him to be untraceable"

She chants a spell then gives the queen the potion to give to the little princess to drink. "The spell will start working in less than an hour, she will lose her tail and scales so we need to go offshore and hand her over to my son and his wife immediately" They reached the shore to find the couple waiting for them. Queen Aurora handed the princess over "please look after her for me" she says with tears in eyes. "It will be my honor my queen, you have nothing to worry about. We will protect her with our lives" he says bowing his head 

Aurora and queen Cordelia make their way back to Aurora's home when they are cornered by the king and his soldiers. "Ahhhhhh here is my beautiful deceitful goody wife, now tell me darling where is my child?" He says with anger on his face. "She will never be yours, she is safe and you will never find her". "You see I will never allow for my 1st born to be a girl, my kingdom can never be run by a woman so you and that child have nothing" Cordelia smirks at him "you have no idea how powerful she is. When the time is right she will come for me and our people,  this place will know peace again" 

As the queen was distracting her husband she signaled for Aurora to escape. They both knew they wont survive the betrayal but Cordelia wanted Aurora alive to help her daughter when the time comes. Aurora reached out to something hidden in her boobs and blew the dust on the 2 soldiers holding her and just like that she was gone. "You idiots, how did you allow that to happen" the king screamed at his soldiers "take my wife down to the cells, I will deal with her later"

They made it back to the castle and the king went to see his mistress Adella who was also a sorcerer possessing powerful dark powers. "my love I'm back, we have her but she had already hidden the kid" pulling out her long curly red her Adella screamed at him "how did you let that happen, now she has gone with all that power" "we will get her back my love don't worry. Now we focus on getting rid of my wife and then you become queen" he says as he kisses her passionately. "I want to make love to you before we finish this off" she says to him as they make their way to the room. 

After they were done they wade their way to the cells holding queen Cordelia "ahhhhhh sweetheart, you seem weak in there" the king says. "You see my father made a mistake forcing my hand in marriage with you, I never wanted you nor loved you. Don't get me wrong you are beautiful but you just not my type. Today I will finally get rid of you and marry the one I love" he says as he runs his fingers through Adella's red curls. She smiles at him and kisses him in front of the queen passionately, after he releases from the kiss the king say "over to you darling" Adella chants a spell that starts draining all Cordelia's powers and life out of her "my daughter will avenge me" she says falling limb on the ground. Her once fire orange tail and hair now grey on the ground and she drew her last breath.

*end flashback*

"You see son, you will need to kill your sister yourself in order to drain some of her power for you to be more powerful. You are almost 16 and will come to your full ability at 17. For now we will keep her prisoner till the right time comes for you to kill her"

They both smile and nod
