Asa's POV
After school we made our way to the local diner for some milkshake with Claire, Deidre and Christopher, I called my parents to inform them I will be a bit late. The girls hopped into my brand new mini cooper while Christopher rose in his black jeep that looked like something out of an army movie. My family was rich yes but his parents owned 60% of the local businesses ranging from pharmacies, restaurants and hotels. What I liked about Christopher was that with all that money he was still a kind and gentle guy compared to a lot of his own friends. We pulled up outside the diner and I decided to touch up on my lipstick. I opened the car mirror only to see my usually baby blue eyes show a silver rim around my irises that was glowing.
"Do you see that" I ask Deidre pointing at my eyes
"See what?" She asks and as I look back in the mirror it was gone.
"Maybe I'm seeing things" I respond. "Let's grab some patties". We jump out of the car and join Christopher who was looking hot I his torn up black bean and clack tshirt gripping to every inch of his body. I was tall and lean with legs for days but he still made my height look like nothing. Claire always says he reminds him of the mystical god Thor....hahahaha I mean really.
Hi Maggie we greeted the waitress who always helps us when we come here. We walked in and sat by the red couches area and ordered our food. "Can I speak to you outside" Christopher requested standing up.
We went to the back of the diner where he pulled me to his rock solid chest and kissed me. I didn't know this feeling surging through my body but I loved every moment of it. We pulled away to catch our breath. I really like you Ava" he said making me blush. "I like you too Chris" I responded with my face turning a pink shade from blushing he pushed a piece of my hair that was on my face back and he gave me a baby kiss on my lips again and said "let's go back inside". With our hands locked together we maid our way back in. Oh my this is really the perfect day I thought to myself.
As we sat back on the red couches I couldn't help but feel an unsettling feeling. It almost felt like my body was warning me about something that's coming. "Excuse me guys, I don't feel so well so I just want to go to the ladies" I said standing up. "Do you need help" Deidre asked and I just shock my head to the sides. When I got to the ladies i looked at myself in the mirror and my eyes were now glowing more than ever and that made me panic. I turned on the tap to wash my face and as I put my hands in the water the water started to move to the motion of my hands. "Oh my, what's happening to me" I whispered to myself pushing my back against the wall. I need to get home I thought to myself as I made my way out of the restroom to join the others.
"I need to get home" i told them as i grabbed my bag pack, "please give the ladies a lift home for me Chris, i will call you later to explain" i said as i ran out of the diner avoiding any eye contact.
I jumped in the car and started making my way home. The weather had gone from a perfect sunny day to now a windy day that looked like it will rain any minute. *screeeccchhhh* my car swayed off the road after I nearly ran over a man that was standing in the middle of the road. I stopped to calm my racing heart when the strange man came to my window and hit it with a force so had it shattered glass all over the car and I started screaming. Soon there were 4 men grabbing me and taking me away from my car.
"Please don't kill me, my parents are rich and they will pay you anything to bring me back safe" I said as I cried
"Your earthly possessions mean nothing to our world little girl, we are just following orders of the king" the tall blonde man replied as they threw me in the back of a black SUV
We drove closer to what felt like the beach side judging by the humidity and the cr stopped. The 4 men dragged me closer to the beach front by a lot of rock and started stripping off their clothes. "No please don't r**e me" I cried out but they simply ignored me. "She hasn't transformed yet so we will need to sedate her till we get to the kingdom" the blonde one says
The shorter soldier whispered something to my ear and everything around me went blank....
