Christopher's POV

I walk in my dad's office and sit on the brown leather couch next to a bookcase as he finishes his phone call. I can't help this feeling I have in my gut. I know Asa is alive but she is in trouble. I just hope we are not late to save her.

"How can I help you son" my dad asks bringing me back from my thoughts

"Dad Asa is still missing. I can feel in my heart something is not right and I can't let my mate die"

"You are not 18 yet son, your wolf has not shifted so how sure are you this girl is your chosen mate"

"I don't need to shift to know how I feel about her, trust me my heart knows. That is why we need to find her soon, I can't lose her dad"

"You know we have to be careful son, the human guardians are watching us like hawks and making sure we are not fully using our abilities when it's not necessary"

"I know dad, I was hoping I can start with visiting her parents to find out if any news have come"

"That's a great idea. Start the car and I will be with you shortly. Call them and inform them we are on the way" he instructs

I walk to the garage and decide on the Porsche 911 2 seater as it's just me and him, plus it will get us there faster I think as I smirk to myself.

We get to Asa's driveway in no time. The perfectly built Tuscan style mansion stands at the edge of the mountain overlooking the sea with palm trees and flowers all around. The butler let's us in and leads us to her dad's office.

"Welcome to our home" he greets with his wife next to him. "My name is Aquas and this is Rena my wife" they shake our hands

"Please seat" he turns to his butler and asks him to bring us something to drink before he takes a seat himself.

"We were hoping to find out if any news have come about Asa" my dad says "we want to help in looking for her" dad continues to elaborate

"I can sense you are werewolfs" Asa's dad Aquas says which catches us of guard and we stare at him wide eyed

"Don't worry, I'm a supernatural myself though I have not tapped into it for years" he says.

"I'm a merman and Asa is a mermaid, a princess mermaid to be exact. Our king have been looking for her since she was born and I am worried he finally found her" Asa is a mermaid, I think to myself. How come I've never sensed that about her.

"I'm sure you are wondering how she stayed on land and you couldn't smell her true being all this time" he leans back 9n his leather chair and continues "years ago when I was your age he mother and I were in love. I knew I couldn't marry her because she was a princess and I was just the son of a sorcerer, I was heartbroken when she was married off to the prince and decided to leave the ocean and seek a home on land. The prince was not a good man for Cordelia you see. He abused her and cheated on her all the time. Around that time she discovered she was pregnant with Asa and my mother helped her give birth and hide the child"

"I'm already lost for words" I say to him

"There's more" he responds and continues "you see there was a legend about a 1st born child who will come and save both worlds from the cruelty of the underwater king. Both worlds are about to be affected with a war and darkness ever seen and the child bearing the mark of Poseidon will be our savior"

"I take it she bears the mark?" Dad asks

"Yes, my mother hid it as well as her powers all this years. If her father has her then it's only a matter of time before he kills her and I can't let that happen. I failed her mother before and wont do that with her " he says

"Why would her father want to harm his own child?" I ask with anger

"His an evil man but his not the biggest problem, his son and his mother are the ones to worry about " he says

"Then we don't have much time" dad responds "we need to get to the bottom of this as soon as possible. I will inform the earth guardians so we are prepared for what's to come and you can lead us on this mission. We are not water creatures so it will be a challenge for us to help with a rescue under water but we will be ready on land"

"My people can perhaps help with that. They have been in exile waiting for the day Asa releases her powers, I will get in touch with them and seek their advise"

"Very well then, let us get to work"

We rise from our seats and make our way out the house. Today has been a complete shock. My Asa is a mermaid princess.....wow it definitely explains her beauty!
