Chapter 2: Waking Up

Kaylie’s Pov   (The little step-sister to Corbin)

I woke up to my annoying alarm clock blaring almost right next to my ear. I groggily slapped the top of my alarm clock to turn it off and slowly got out of bed. Deciding a shower would wake me up I quickly got out my clothes for today which consisted of a blue halter top with my white ripped skinny jeans and a black matching set of underwear and a bra. After showering I quickly got dressed and ran downstairs noticing that Corbin was already up and drinking his morning coffee most likely getting ready to leave. Which I turned out to be correct because soon he was saying his goodbyes and leaving right out the door. After about 5 minutes my best friend Chloe, who I had met over the summer at the park, pulled up and honked her horn signaling it was time to go. I ran back upstairs, grabbed my book bag, ran back downstairs and locked the door on my way out. Hopping into her car which was blaring Follow you by Imagine Dragons and drove off to school.
