Chapter 9: Wait, Mom? Dad?

Unknown pov

    She was there with a guy. Our daughter is with a guy. Me and my husband have been chasing her for a long time hoping we’ll get a chance to get her alone so we could kidnap her. Yeah yeah we know it’s our fault she left. We did it because we wanted a boy. She looks too strong now though, all with a boyfriend and all. He looks smart and good looking, how did our daughter get him? I snuck into the bathroom after hearing her say she needed to go to the bathroom and waited just a few seconds before the door opened.

Kaylie’s pov

     When I got to the bathroom I noticed a shadow pacing outside the window. Just as I noticed it though a hand came up to my mouth and a voice I remember all too well from telling me I will never be good enough for anyone say, “Hey dear. On a date are we? Now when I remove my hand we aren’t going to scream are we?” she asked and I shook my head profusely even though I planned to scream so I could alert Orin a little. She removed her hand slowly then turned me around and put her hand at her side. “Mom, why? Why are you here? Why did you repeatedly ruin my childhood? Why?” I asked. “Because we hated you, we wanted a baby boy. A strong boy but no we got a pewny girl!” she stated with such hatred laced in her voice. Before I could think to say anything I screamed Orin’s name and immediately got hit and the head and got knocked out.

Orin’s pov

     She had been in the bathroom for a while now I thought to myself but then I heard her scream. On no! What’s wrong? Is she okay? I need to go find her!” I ran to the ladies bathroom and busted the door open and noticed two people running away, one with a body in its arms, it looked like a male and a female they were wearing intricate clothing, I think I saw them when we came in.They seemed like a nice couple, they were smiling and everything. I need to go get her back! All I could think about was her scream and who those people were.
