Sometimes I hated being myself. Other times, though, I loved my position and, considering all the blood I'd shed to get to this place, I deserved a long vacation. None of us had ever taken a real vacation since we founded the company. I often understood Eric's retirement plans, but I also understood that after all the years of being hyperactive, we'd never be able to sit still. Breaks at the weekends were something we forced ourselves on. Even the sleeping nights before weren't a matter of course.
