Book 2 - Chapter 3 - Part One

1389 Words

I had been tossing and turning all night, I could no longer sleep well. The sheets were impregnated with the smell of Ashe, but I missed her too much to get a long sleep. I had to give her space, and if that meant sleeping badly, I'd have to get used to it. Today I would have had to solve the usual problems related to the testers. I had the perfect excuse to meet her. As always, some crafty man tried to send information out and I, as always, sent Eric to remember the clauses, but, this time, I would have gone too. I knew how problematic it could be to be a top player in a popular game like ours, but I didn't think they could recognize Ashe's avatar and annoy her. I was pleasantly surprised that she had solved the problem on her own, so that I wouldn't have to go and mark the territory.
