We walked towards the house and saw my family together with Luis. We told them to wait for us in the living area so that we could fix ourselves first. We went to the room and changed as fast as we could. We hurriedly went down when we were done and as soon as we came, Dad started talking.
"You will go home now." He said as he pointed her fingers at me as if I did something terrible.
"No, Dad, I'm staying." I said bravely.
"Cassandra please, we are losing the company, Luis parents won't help us if you don't marry him." Dad said. I looked at Mom beside him and she looked apologetic.
"I'm afraid she can't help you with that, sir." Kyle butted in. "But my company can extend our generosity to yours. There is no need to force Cassy to marry someone specially if she is already married."
