“Where are you going?” Mom asked me when I was about to open the door.
“I am going out,” I said. “I just need fresh air.”
“And where do you think will you get that?” She said.
“Chill Mom,” I said. “It’s not like it’s the first time that I’m going out.”
“I am just concerned about you,” She said. “It’s dangerous out there.”
“What would you do about it?” She said. “I’ll be with Marga. And I need to go.”
I left her there and I didn’t even bother to glance back at her. I am not being mean, I’m just acting according to my emotions and I think I have all the right to do that.
It was true that I’ll be with Marga. I invited her and she accepted. I know she wanted to know how our talk went and I will give that to her. After all, I need someone who will listen to everything that I have to say.
