Chapter 26: The Epilogue

Grace's PoV:

When I woke up, I knew it would be to a different future, and it was. Thomas took me to Caroline's pack house, because it was closer than his, and I woke up there several days later, tired and achy. I hadn't been too badly hurt, but the combination of exhaustion, cold and the sudden shift had left me weak and knocked out for a few days. Caroline seemed glad to see me, and neither Jamie or Thomas left my side while I recovered.

Apparently Kayden, Ella and Alex were okay too, and Thomas said that, since killing the mate of an Alpha was one of the biggest crimes a wolf could commit, I was safe from any individual attacking me. We still had to worry about the council and what they thought of the whole thing, but between Thomas and Caroline's sway, I only worried a bit about it.
