Loving You Again

Chapter 4

After coming back from the "fun time" (Honey's words) the boys were having at the stream, Jeev was very quiet. He had been working on his laptop all the time & just returned to the bedroom after cleaning the mess after dinner. He was still very quiet. Genie & Honey noticed & they asked Jeev what was wrong with him. Jeev said, "Why would you think that something's wrong? There's nothing wrong with me. I'm normal." Honey, knowing that Jeev just can't refuse anything to him, pouted & said, "Bro, you really don't love me anymore." Honey was always the cutest baby brother Jeev could have. Jeev just loved him too much. Jeev loved Genie all the same, but since Honey was used to getting pampered all the time & Genie always being the level-headed one, Jeev just couldn't stand to see Honey distressed. He sat down near Honey & Genie & hugged Honey & said, You know that I love you both. You're all I have. It's just that I'm tired." Genie said, "Okay. Now you surely don't love us!" Saying this, Genie pouted & turned away from Jeev. Jeev said, "Okay, I'll tell you. Seeing the three of them again, after such a long time, was just too much for me to take in. I'm just feeling nervous." Honey & Genie laid down with their heads on Jeev's lap, while Jeev was stroking their hair softly with his fingers. Honey said, "Bro, don't worry! You're just thinking too much. They don't really remember all that had happened. You just need to make a fresh start & be sure not to make any mistake." Genie said, "Big bro, whatever's being troubling your mind is natural. But you have to remember that it was all a misunderstanding & nothing else." Saying this both Genie & Honey dozed off. Jeev just couldn't get any shut-eye the whole night. It was still dawn when Jeev got up. He did yoga for some time. Then he did meditation. After that he bathed in the stream & washed his brothers' & his own clothes. Then he made breakfast for Honey & Genie & woke them up. Both of them bathed in the stream & came back to the hut. Jeev fed them breakfast. Honey said, "Where are we going sightseeing today?" Genie said, "We can go to those caves at the back of the waterfall!" Jeev said, "You both decide. I'll just go with you wherever you want." After having breakfast, the brothers went out sightseeing. They went to many places & clicked numerous pictures on their mobile phones. When they were trying to get a picture standing at the waterfall's edge, they heard those three girls shouting. They looked around & finally noticed the girls. They were the ones who had slapped them before. The girls were standing near a stream of water to which the waterfall added more. The girls were waving their hands & yelling. The three brothers literally jumped down the waterfall & landed on their feet totally unscathed. The girls stared at the boys with their mouth hanging open in shock. The boys walked up to those girls & said, "Close your mouth. Or else a fly might go inside you." The girls closed their mouth, glaring at the boys as they chuckled in amusement. One of the girls asked, "Why do you always keep trying to kill yourself?" Jeev said, "Calm down. It's not like that. We just find it to be fun." The girls stared at them & another one of them said, "That's insane! How can you find something dangerous to be fun?" Honey said, "It is fun. You should try it too." The third girl, who had been silent till now, said, "Not interested!" Saying this, she turned away. Genie said, "We're tourists here. We were just doing some sightseeing & clicking pictures. You seem to be local here. Do you mind showing us around, lest we fall in some other trouble?" The girls looked at each other & at the boys.
