Loving You Again

Chapter 1

It was a Friday night of the month of June, a time when the summer heat is at its peak in India. Jeev, Honey & Genie had just finished their dinner with their family & had retreated to their room for the night. The Prataap Bahadur family strongly believed the saying, "a family that eats together, stays together", so they always had their breakfast & dinner together. Jeev pampered his younger brothers, Honey & Genie, a lot. He treated both of them like babies & did everything for them just to make them happy. He never refused for anything that they wanted. As soon as the triplets came to their shared room, Honey & Genie hugged Jeev tightly & told Jeev, "Bro, we want to go for a holiday. Just the three of us." Jeev said, "I've got lots of work to do. I can't go for a holiday. You both go if you want to." Honey said, "You don't love us anymore. You're always working. You don't spend time with us." Genie said, "We just want to spend time with you. Are we asking for too much?" Jeev said, "Okay! Fine! Have I ever said 'NO' to you both for anything? I'll go with you. Where do you want to go?" Genie replied, "Don't worry about it bro, I've made all the arrangements. We're leaving tomorrow at mid-morning." Jeev was surprised that Honey & Genie made all the arrangements already. They didn't even ask him. But he didn't give much thought to it. Then the triplets went to sleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows. They were really tired after all the work. As usual, Jeev woke up early. After some time of working out, Jeev made breakfast for everyone. Then he woke up Honey & Genie. The triplets got ready & Jeev packed up their luggage. They didn't carry much. Jeev always kept minimum luggage & left out the unnecessary things. They could easily purchase the things they needed from their holiday destination. Then the whole family had their breakfast together & the triplets told everyone else about their plan for a vacation. Honey excitedly told Shalini, "Mama, we're going to a very remote village. We'll go by train. Our destination is in Himachal Pradesh. The train won't take us directly to our destination, so we'll go by train to the station nearest to our destination & from there we'll go by bus." Jeev said, "Are you crazy? We've never travelled like that. You'll be very uncomfortable." Genie said, "Calm down bro. It's not that big a deal. I've made sure that we'll be comfy enough." Then the triplets left home after breakfast. They reached the railway station just on time. They quickly boarded the train & the train got a green signal to go. All the people in the train were staring at the triplets as they settled in their seats. Genie had booked the tickets for third A.C. class as that was the best that was available. There were three six berths (three on each side) in the middle & two berths on one side of the train's coach. The triplets got the three middle berths. The brothers travelled laughing, talking, singing & eating. They reached their stoppage on the third day at noon. They bought some food from the food court at the railway station & had it. After that they left the station & went to the bus stand to board a bus. Jeev bought the tickets & the brothers boarded their bus.
