Chioma watched Patrick closely as he played.

She felt her heart melting in love? as she admired the way he played, she had forgotten she was hungry and haven’t had lunch, she need somebody that will let her forget the bad times she had with emeka and she think she just found him,then patrick started singing.

"across the street

across the sky

a hole inside my heart

the rooms are getting smaller

Emeka walked out of the class and headed upstairs to theresa class,immediately he entered their hall he saw her coming out of her class with the headboy(emmanuel).

They both froze immediately they saw him

"Well well well,what do we have here,emmenuel I didn’t see you today what happened" emeka said.

Theresa looked at emmanuel in confused face

"emmanuel what is it about" theresa asked.

"He told me to be bringing food everyday to his class or he will tell everyone about us, can you imagine" Emmanuel replied

"What kind of rubbish is that after sleeping with(as theresa quickly stopped talking)

"Sleeping with who" Emmanuel asked

"Nobody" (she replied)

"Theresa did he asked you to sleep with him"?emmanuel asked(she became silent as she bow her head in shame.

"What"?emmanuel shouted as a blow landed on emeka face.

Emmanuel climbed untop of emeka and started punching his face and his stomach.

Theresa tried to separate them but she couldn’t. "Emmanuel pls leave him"(she begged).

" Today I am going to show this boy that i am a street boy"(emeka said within himself).

He held emmanuel hands as he was about giving him another blow, pushed him to the side,climbed untop of him,and gave him an head butt before throwing punches at his face, he punched him till he started bleeding, his phone immediately fell out of his pocket.

Emmanuel grabbed it and threw it from upstairs downstairs while he was lying on the floor.

"Jesus my phone" emeka shouted as he ran to the corridor he watched as he saw his phone crashed downstairs), he looked back at Emmanuel and saw him laughing with blood all over his face.

Emeka heard voices coming beside him, he quickly got up and turned to run,hey come back here(he heard Mr rueben voice),his running away(theresa shouted almost in tears.

He ran downstairs and saw Gabriel walking with some boys.

"Emeka what is happening,why is blood on your face like this and why is your uniform dirty like this" Gabriel asked in shock.

"No time to explain I will tell you later, please help me go to downstairs fast somebody threw my phone from upstairs, go fast before someone picks it"Emeka said.

"THAT HIM”(he heard a voice shouted), he quickly took to his heels as two guys blocked his front, he turned back to run and saw Mr rueben and two other huge seniors blocked his way, he saw that he was trapped and no way out, he looked downstairs from the corridor and saw a huge crowd staring at him, the whole school has now noticed them as he saw Gabriel holding his phone.

"GET HIM"(Mr rueben shouted),the 4 guys from both sides came running towards his direction, he quickly jumped and stepped on the corridor railing iron,he tried to balance himself to stand well but he slipped and saw himself falling.

Patrick was still singing when chioma heard a loud noise coming from outside.

" What is that noise"?chioma asked.

"Let go check it out" Patrick said as they dashed out of the door and saw some student leaning on the corridor.

They joined them to know what they were looking at.

"Oh God is that not emeka" chioma said in shock with her hand on her mouth), she screamed as she saw him falling from upstairs going down.

"Somebody call an ambulance" (a teacher shouted.

Chioma bursted into tears as she saw emeka’s uniform soaked with blood where he lay helplessly,open the gate fast(the principal shouted to the security man),a teacher helped him as they carried emeka and dropped him at the back seat of the principal’s car,he quickly reversed and drove out of the compound.

There were noise all over the school as different student from juniors to seniors were all outside their corridors, some were crying while some were consoling the others.

Chioma tears kept pouring as patrick embraced her like a baby,she looked around with her teary eyes and saw some people looking at her.

Some of them were asking themselves that why is this girl crying as if she’s emeka’s husband.

Patrick noticed that they are about to start a fight so he took chioma back into the music room where she poured out all her tears on his shoulder.

"Chioma it okay, he will be okay" Patrick said as chioma removed herself from his shoulder and stare at him.

"Do you think he will be okay?, didn’t you see the blood all over his uniform?, he fell from upstairs and you’re saying he will be fine" chioma said

"Look I promise you emeka will come back alive" Patrick said as he cleaned the tears from her face), She kept staring at his face as he cleaned her face, she was still shaking in tears,where they sat down, she fell back on his chest as he embraced her like a little child.

"Wow she looks beautiful" Patrick said within himself, he love the way she stared at him while he was cleaning her tears from her face, makes him want to kiss her, he love her lips,she looks so gentle and innocent.

"Could I be falling for her immediately" Patrick added,no am not ready to fall in love now.

Chioma closed her eyes as she rested on his chest which looks so calm and comfortable, she almost kissed him just now, she was so surprised how nature brought them together, after saving her from getting raped now his here consoling her but she need to know how he saved her.

ehhem(she coughed) as she removed herself from his embrace, patrick can I ask you a question?

"Okay am listening" Patrick replied

"About that day you saved me,how did you do it" chioma asked.

"patrick(laughed) actually the siren you heard wasn’t a real police siren,this was what I did(as he brought out his phone)which was the same iPhone 6 chioma saw that night,he played one of his audio clip and the whole room was filled with siren noise from his phone,this was what I played before they all ran away" Patrick said

"Wow,that was so smart of you, and how did you know I was in the building" chioma asked.

"Okay I was coming from a pharmacy my mum sent me,as I was riding my bike,I saw some group of boys surrounded you, I wanted to come out and fight them but saw that they were much so I hide myself, and I watched as they carried you into an uncompleted building, I quickly drove my bike,parked it and followed the direction they carried you into,I saw that they were about raping you as they took off your trousers so I played the siren on my phone that made them all ran away" Patrick added.
