Oh, I was so pissed. No one talked to me that way, I’m the alpha. That’s why I need her and Ed as my beta. They are strong and they are not afraid to put me in my place. I was just so pissed because she was right.
I could have stopped all her pain years ago if I just claimed her as my mate. I could have waited till she was eighteen to mark her but at least the pack would have known she was mine. Instead I let my family tell me she couldn’t be my mate and run the pack with me because she was a fox. They knew I didn’t care about that though, so they sent her way.
