The Rise of the Lycan Queen

Chapter 6

Parkers POV

I bend down and close my eyes waiting for Elena to kiss me. I’m so excited I can hardly contain myself, this beautiful girl is actually going to kiss me! She places her hands on my shoulders and I can feel her get on her tippy toes considering I am taller than she is. After a few seconds I feel something hard make impact with my face and by the floral  scent I can tell it was her head. “Dang that girl has a really hard head” i say to myself. I stumble back from the impact of her head and without warring she punches me in the stomach before I have a chance to react she kicks me so hard I go flying backwards into the hall. Seeing stars everything goes black and I pass out. 

*15 minutes later*

After coming to I rub my head and my stomach. “I guess she’s not human after all max. There isn’t anyway a human could lay me on my butt like that!” Sitting there for a couple more seconds before i can finally stand, I can feel I have a busted lip and a black eye. I’m pretty sure I also have a broken rib. The best thing about being a werewolf Is healing super fast so I’m not to worried. Ill be healed by the end of the class. 

After standing finally I  make my way down stairs to my English class, Elena scent not going unnoticed I  happen to follow it all the way to my class. Good I can sit next to her and ask her what all that was because the only open set is right next to mine. Walking through the door I can feel all eyes on me but mine immediately goes to Elena I then smirk at her. Crap I forgot that Jax wasn’t here yet so she’s in his seat. Turning to Mr. Nathan “And where have you been?” He says with a pissed off attitude. “Huh what’s problem” I think to myself, normally he’s more laid back with the pack kids seeing as he is a werewolf himself. “Uhh I kinda got held up” I say to him nervously rubbing the back of my neck and not really wanting to go into detail about getting beat up by the new girl. “Well have a seat and I’ll see you in detention later after school.” Really what is with him today? “Aww come on!” I say to him pleading hell let me by because I was to talk to Elena more and get to know her “I said have a seat” Mr Nathan says to be and after looking him over for a seconds I finally find my set in the middle of the room. After a few seconds of the boring lecture that he is going over at the front of the class room I look over at Elena and as if she can feel my eyes on her she turns to me. There is something off with this girl. When I focus on her emotions I can tell that she is kinda pissed off at the world but mostly sad. I don’t really know why I want to know her and protect her but I just cant stop feeling this way. I’m so deep in my thoughts that I don’t realize max come to the surface and before I could stop him he smirks and winks at her. She rolls her eyes and turns back to the window. After a few minutes of staring down at my paper I decided to open a mindlink with Jax to see where he is at.

 “Hey man where are you?” I say though the link waiting on him to reply my mind keeps drifting to Elena. With my super hearing I can tell she is listening to music. I cant make out what it is but it is slow and sad from the sound of it but before I can listen to much of it Jax reply’s back to me “hey I’m just getting in my car I should be there in 10 minutes, why did something happen?” After thinking for a minutes I decide to tell him about Elena “ no nothing happened man just this new girl total kicked my ass this morning” all I hear is Jax laughing at me. “No dude you don’t understand, there is something off about her, she smells like a human but she knocked me out.”

I say to him a little embarrassed to admit. “What do you mean she smells like a human but knocked you out Parker?  You are the beta of this pack and you let a girl knock you out!” He says though the link a little pissed off now. “You’ll see her when you get here we have first period with her. I think I’m in love with her man” I say back to him. “ ill be in the parking lot in 5 minutes” he says to me then ends the link. As if on cue 5 minutes had passed and I hear his car pull into the parking lot. It takes him another 5 to grab his books then I can feel him outside the class room. I can feel his nerves and his heart is racing, I can feel his anger as well. Jax opens the door and his eyes are black as tar and he’s looking right at Elena. I look to her and she’s starring back to him, “aww come on!” I say to max “ that explains why I felt so protective of her, she’s the packs luna. I try to open a link to Jax to confirm my suspicions but he has everything shut out. He turns to Mr. Nathan and asks if she could step out into the hall with him. Being the alpha does has its perks since he didn’t get in trouble like I did. He agrees then asked for Elena to step into the hall. I look over to her and she lets out a breath that seems like she had been holding in forever and then grabs her bag and makes her way to the door.
