“Room one on left upstairs Oga” I was already on the stairs before he could finish the statement. I pushed the door open the door with everything in me and there she was. Lying down on the tiled floor in what seemed to like a blood vomit. My body moved on its own before my mind could process the scene. I crouched down and wrapped her in my arms. I could see her lips moved as she tried to say something. “Hush. Don’t talk. You’re fine. It’s going to be alright”. I carried her down the spacious hall and spotted the security guard. “Open the gates” I said. “I don do that oga” he replied as I headed out towards the car. “Call the Hospital and tell them there’s an emergency on the way. A Bach a family member” I told the security as he opened the back door. I put her in back seat and drove off at a speed only God knew, headed for the 37 Military Hospital. When I pulled up at the main entrance, there was already an emergency response team waiting. I carefully carried her out and put her on a stretcher which was pushed away immediately. “This is as far as you go sir. Please sign with your details at the reception incase we need you” A female nurse said as the stretcher was pushed inside a room. “Don’t worry, I’m not leaving her here” replied. “Please sir, it’s protocol and must be followed” she insisted. “I said I’m not leaving. I’m not going anywhere till she’s alright. Is that clear?” I shouted in anger, drawing a few glances in our direction. “Don’t worry, I’ll take it from here” a young doctor who looked to be in his mid twenties approached me. “My name is Doctor Colard, a personal doctor to the Bach family. Are you a family member?” He introduced himself. “I’m Larry. Larry Draven. I’m a friend” I said.
