In the last day or so, there had been startling revelations in the media that alleged a number of transfer fees had been left unpaid which put another question mark over owner, Sheikh Abdullah Hassan. The other question marks regarded his suitability, being from a country that openly oppressed women and freedom of speech. There was also his alleged participation, despite ‘evidence’ to the contrary, in a homosexual act that resulted in a young Englishman’s death.
