And it couldn’t get much tougher, unless perhaps it was Manchester United or Manchester City or Chelsea or Tottenham… as they faced Arsenal. Arsenal were 11-time league title winners and one of the most successful during the Premier League era. Shyton fancied their chances though after their thrilling, easy victory away to Sunderland. Could Shyton continue that rich vein of form and really lay the marker down and strike fear amongst the traditional elite of English football?
