1st March, 2014Chelsea were the visitors to Creek Alley Stadium. Chelsea were a team that Shyton United looked up to, certainly Maury did.
MAURY: Yes, I think Chelsea are the benchmark. If there’s one team we’d like to emulate and become like, it’s Chelsea. If we were like Chelsea we’d be able to sign anybody we want! As soon as we rejuvenate this town, get rid of the pollution, get rid of the current population, build better homes, have more boutique shops, improve education, get better weather, and finally, relocate Shyton to south west London then I feel it’s definitely achievable.
STANLEY: Move Shyton?
MAURY: MK Dons did it.
STANLEY: Nobody cares about MK Dons anymore.
Shyton United were out on the pitch warming up. Tommy’s name was read out over the PA system and was roundly booe
