28th December, 2013Much to the delight of the foreign players as well as the England national coach, the Shyton United players were taken away from their families and loved ones yet again to travel the not-so-great distance to the wonderful city of Hull – most well-known for its top university, and the ‘Only Fools and Horses’ episode, ‘To Hull and Back’. In that episode, poor old Denzil kept hearing and seeing Del Boy and believed he was going mad. Classic.
Unfortunately, they were without Bombinho for the match. Bombinho had impressed all the team by managing to hold onto the handle of his front door despite quite a few of them trying to pull him away and get him on the coach. He stayed at home, was fined a week’s wages and said it was the best thing he’d ever done.
