23rd November, 2013Shyton United faced a home game against Swansea City, the Welsh Wizards, another team that Shyton United should try to emulate. Swansea were a well-run club from top to bottom and it didn’t seem to matter who managed them, as the structure was already in place. Could Maury replicate Swansea’s system of having a sound financial platform, a playing system and a team of coaches and scouts who were in-sync and all knew their roles? I doubted it. I asked Maury about it.
STANLEY: Is Swansea a club that Shyton United should try to emulate both on and off the field?
MAURY: No.
STANLEY: Why not?
MAURY: We don’t emulate we innovate!
