2nd November, 2013Here it was, one of Shyton United’s biggest games of the season against the biggest club in the country, Manchester United. The stadium was half-empty and dead quiet. Fans considered Shyton United so boring that the majority of the fans who did attend their games were tired-looking mothers with young babies, rocking their sprogs to sleep, and old-age pensioners trying to get a good kip in before tea. It’s a sad state of affairs when you couldn’t sell out against Man United. Man United sold out all the time. How was this going to affect Maury’s business plan, if he had one? I very much doubted he had a business plan at all. Still their new Russian owner, Mr Kovich who we hadn’t yet heard a peep from, wouldn’t have been happy at this.
