Juliette’s POV: I laid in bed that night, tossing and turning because sleep had decided to avoid me almost like a plague. Every time I closed my eyes, all I could see and feel, was the weight of Bryan’s hot stare, the way his voice made me feel… the way it had dropped when he asked if I wanted Dorian to do something. I could’ve sworn I saw something like anger and jealousy flash through his eyes, but it was gone just as quickly as it had appeared so I was probably imagining it.
