Josh I try not to feel too disappointed about the fact I"m going home today. It isn"t that I don"t want to see my parents, because I do, more because of everything I"m going to be leaving behind, and I don"t want to do that. The light from my doorbell goes off and I know without needing to check that it"s Melody coming to say goodbye. I head out of my room and down the corridor, pulling the door open and letting her inside. She leans in and kisses my cheek before following me down the corridor to my room. It"s become an almost familiar routine for us, and I hope that spending a few weeks apart isn"t going to change things. I don"t think it will. If anything, I think it will increase the connection I feel towards her. I push open my bedroom door and gesture for her to step inside. She
