"Belinda listen to me, you are going to marry that young man, you can't keep staying in my house, you refused to further your education while your sister is almost done with hers. Mrs Ella thundered looking at Belinda fuming with rage. Belinda walked to the entrance door but suddenly stopped turning to face her mother" Mom, I will not marry Michael and that is it. She pushed the door open and left.

Mrs Ella is an entrepreneur and a serious minded businesswoman who was determined to give her twin daughters the best life she never enjoyed. Her runaway boyfriend abandoned her 25 years ago when he found out that she was pregnant.

"Ella, why are you so dumb to have allowed yourself to get pregnant, I thought you were smart". Victor was burning with anger on his face, Ella broke down in tears as she find words to express her disappointment from Victor. "Victor, you are blaming me now?", Do you know the weight of shame that will befall my family if they find out I am pregnant out of wedlock?.

"That is between you and your family because as for me I am not taking responsibility for that bastard you are carrying". Ella couldn't take it anymore as she threw a slap across Victor's cheek. "You dare call my child a bastard?". Victor stared at her surprised as he felt the pang of pain of the slap on his cheek, he stared at her for a long time before he felt the urge to speak again this time choosing his words carefully so as not to upset her. "I will give you enough money to take care of yourself and the baby, I am not ready to be a father yet, I want to further my education". Ella laughed bitterly. "You want to further your education?", "After shattering my dreams and ambitions?". Victor looked at her pleading with his eyes as he attempted to touch her arm which she shoved away roughly. She quietly took her bag and left his apartment determined never to return.

As the saying goes, nothing is hidden under the sun so was Ella's pregnancy. Soon after, her family and friends noticed the pregnancy, being a young girl in her teens, she suffered a lot of humiliations from her family and friends who held her in high expectations especially her family and being the first child, she was expected to further her education and bring them out of poverty so they believed.

Ella toiled day and night looking for means of survival for both herself and her unborn baby as she was ignored by her family, no one cared about her not after letting her stay in the house after the shame she brought upon them so she struggled alone. One particular morning on the 2nd of August nine months later while she was preparing to go out for her daily jobs, she felt a sharp and unbearable pain at her lower abdomen, she refrained herself from screaming loudly but she couldn't hold it in as she let out a loud scream, her mother who was preparing to go to her farm heard her scream and she felt her heart stopped for a moment as she ran to Ella's room. On reaching there, Ella was already on the floor wincing in pains, her mother examined her and knew at once it was time she put to birth.

She quickly ran to the Village midwife's house panting heavily out of breath dragging her with anxiety and fear. When they got to Ella's room, the midwife knelt beside her and calmly instructed her to push. After few hours of pushing, sound of crying filled the air. Ella has put to birth and guess what?

TWINS!!
