There’s another reason to be thankful this December. The team is finally starting to take off. After opening the season 2-4, we’ve won four of our last six games to reach .500. Even better, we’ve climbed to the middle of the pack in the Connecticut Valley Conference with a 5-4 league record. It sure didn’t happen overnight, but we’re showing a better grasp of the motion offense every time we’re on the court, just like Coach Ant said we would. At times we look fluid—bodies in perpetual motion looking to set a screen or receive a pass. We’re shooting better because we’re getting more layups and open shots.
