I am furious as I walk up and down the sitting room. I cannot believe what my mother has done, and now she has lost her job. How are we going to take care of ourselves? We are already staying in this cramped department, and Emma has asked me to move in with her. Maybe I can get her to put the penthouse in my name. I should not have divorced Christine so quickly. I should have waited, but I was supposed to know that she was the daughter of Dr Baxter? Never has she ever told us that she was his daughter.
