"You cannot stay here. We are not here to look after you. That is not our responsibility. Why don't you go to the father of your child if you are afraid to be alone?" I ask.
"Why do you not want me around, Uncle? Are you afraid I will realize that you and Christine are not a true couple and that you only married each other to spite Mike and me?" Emma asks.
"Honey, let her stay. She cannot be that much of a problem. I am not going to let her upset me. I have nothing to hide. We have nothing to hide. If she thinks that we are trying to fool everybody, then let her stay and see that it is not what we are trying to do. I don't want anybody to think that we are a couple just in name. I do not want anybody to think that we are not who we seem to be. We know we love each other
