Inside, the facility was dark and dank with little-to-no lighting to aid them. The same smells that hung over the streets outside were inside as well, except with the addition of what smelled like burning flesh. But who was to say whether it was human or some sort of animal? Further on in, it was clear that something horrible had happened here. People who looked as though they had worked there lay on the floors of the building, dead, shot in the head. Could have been ones that were infected and dealt with swiftly. Or perhaps a clean sweep was ordered and that was why the vehicles were in town. Just long enough to carry out another quick mission then off to the next.
