Maya hugged Chase and Candy at the back entrance of the club. “Oh, I’m so happy for you two! Call me later. I know you two must be going crazy waiting for some alone time.” She stepped back and let Josh shake hands with their friends. “Congratulations, you two. I can’t believe I never thought about the possibility of you two being mates before. Now it makes total sense.” Chase looked at Candy and laughed. “Well, I think you’ve been too busy dealing with your own mate.” He winked at Maya, who rolled her eyes. “Okay.
