Maya woke up ready to start the day. She was eager to see Dustin and see how he would be around her family and friends. She put on a little makeup to hide the circles under her eyes and braided her hair from the bottom up, twisting the rest into a messy bun on top of her head. Then she dressed in a tee shirt and running shorts and went downstairs to the kitchen. She needed some coffee to get through today. Sitting at the table alone, before everyone else woke up, she looked around her and felt so happy to be back at home. She had missed her home and family even in the short months she had been away at school. Now here she was tossed back in time, and she had mixed feelings about it.
