Josh left Alpha Sam’s office with a lot on his mind. They had discussed his situation from every possible angle. They agreed that the best thing to do for Stephanie was to wait until she was stronger to reject her. That meant waiting to complete his bond with Maya, and that was going to be very difficult if she was going to go into her first heat in about a month. He prayed to the Goddess to delay it, but he wasn’t sure they were that lucky.
