Ever since the day Jummy's mum visited our school to cause separation between me and Jummy,Our relationship has been sultry.The relationship wouldn't have been sultry but the proprietor knew that we would never desist from each other,So he told all the teachers to be monitoring us,That whenever they see us together,They should come and report to the school.Truly I didn't fear the teachers that were told to be monitoring us,But just only one teacher among them; Mr Johnson.

Before this happened, Jummy's love in my heart has been very high that I rarely do something without remembering her.She always come to my mind in everything that I do.I didn't know that's how people who fall in love feel.Even in the midnights,I hardly sleep without remembering jummy,my baby.

So I thought since me and Jummy weren't in the same class again, atleast the love would decrease in my heart little and I'll be able to spend my days without always carrying her in my thoughts.But rather the love to decrease,it kept increasing.Sometimes I wonder if Jummy also feels the way I feel,but even if she feels like I feel,It can't ever be as much as mine.

The next day morning as I got to school,I wrote a short note on a paper and then stood beside the school gate watching clearly if I would see her.Luckily I saw her sitting down in front of her new class but I couldn't go and meet her there,so I called a junior student.

"Hey! Please come" I called a boy who was passing by,with a pleading hand.

"Me?" He said,as he pointed at his chest.

"Yes! Please" I said.

"Why don't you come and carry me?" He asked me, abusiv_ely.

The last statement he muttered really pained me so much that I even forgot the note I wanted to give jummy first.so I want to pun_ish him for being disrespectful.

"That's how You fail,I actually want to give you something before.But since you said you didn't want,take care!" I said,as I was about to be going.

I knew when he saw me going,he would take it seriously and thought I wanted to give him something truly.so he called me:

"Boda! Oyah wait" he said.

Then I wait for him till he reached my side and gave him a knock on his Head.

"Yeee" he shouted.

"Yes, Next time,You'll know how to be addressing people who are older than you" I said as I released his uniform.

As I released his uniform,he abused me again and ran.Well since I've beaten him for disrespecting me,I was satisfied.

"What can I do now?" That was the last statement I said when I saw a small girl standing before me.

"She said you should give it to me" she said,As she pointed at Jummy.

I was like "how did she know that I want to give her something?,Is this girl a wi_tch?".Well anyway.

"Help me to give her this and don't open it.okay?" I said as I handed the note to her.

She handed the note to Jummy and I could see how she was beaming when she was reading it .

*The short note*

"Jummy my love! I just want to let you know that I miss you so much.Please let us meet in Alex building immediately after the closing hour"

Alex building is one of the most silent place in our school that time,even till now.People rarely go there to do something, It's somehow abandoned by the school, So I believe me and Jummy would be safe there but never did I know that "when you think you're good in keeping something, remember that some people are very good in searching too".

Immediately after the closing hour,Jummy came and meet me.But as we were about to be exchanging pleasantries and greetings,we heard a voice.

"Hey,what are you both doing in that silent place?" Surely,it was a voice from Mr Johnson.

"Temi ti pada bamin lonin_ I'm finally in trouble today" I said.

As I turned back,it was Mr Johnson I saw,On his hand were canes and whips.As I saw this,I humbly knelt down.But even as I was shivering because of mr Johnson as thought as I saw an angel of d_ealth,Jummy didn't tremble at all,Rather she kept grinning.I wouldn't say she was laughing but her lips were parting.And sure,she also saw Mr Johnson.

As I knelt down and pleading, Jummy kept grinning.I wondered what could be happening.

"Please sir,The thing is,Ehm sir,I mean she was,No I wanted to say___" I was stammering.

Then mr Johnson looked at me and said:

"Stand up!"

I stood up Swiftly like a slave who is freed by his Lord.Though,I was still trembling and shivering but then,My mind was at rest a little.

Isn't Mr Johnson that we all know?,If nothing had happened Before,He wouldn't have allowed me to even say a single word before he would start to be beating me unme.rcifully.

"We teachers are not cr..azy,Only some among us are.The fact that you students pigeonhole me as a w..i..cked teacher doesn't make me a bad person.The fact is,Some among you are goats,They need to be lashed and canned before they come back to their sense" Said by Mr johnson.

After I heard this,I felt relieved.This shows that he wasn't going to beat us on that day.I didn't even know Mr Johnson could talk to us calmly like this.We use to see him as a w.i..cked teacher who's not worthy to be closed to.We see him like a Lu.ci.fer.

"Anyway,In the first place when her mother came and requested for your separation,I wondered what could be happening.I was there when the proprietor was asking her what happened but she didn't talk still,All she kept saying was she didn't want to see you guys together again.She even came to me and gave me money to be beating you with no reason.I can't do that,How would I be beating a person who doesn't offend me?.So I knew if I called you to ask you what's happening,You may tell me a lie or lies,so I called Jummy and she explained everything to me.Afterall she's her mother and she wouldn't ever lie against her mother" Mr Jummy said.

As I heard this,I sighed and hummed.

"Exactly sir,That's how it happened sir.Though we know we are still young to be having relationship affair but sir,We are actually focused and we don't engage in s.e…x…ual acts." I said, Talking to mr Johnson

"Teachers' works never end in teaching only,We ought to be educating, Motivating and inspiring you students too.Well,I wouldn't say you shouldn't continue your relationship but please don't let it ever affect your career.And don't let me hear anything bad about you guys; s.e..x…ual acts,V.io..lence or wandering around the school in school time.Anyway,This was how me and my wife started too" Mr Johnson was very serious talking before,But as he said the part "This was how me and my wife started too" he smiled joyfully.

On that day,Like I've never being advised before,Mr Johnson gave me these great words and I promised to follow every part of his advice.He waved us goodbye and left.

"O'oojo oshi_ coward" Jummy said.

"No be you wan land me for trouble?" I said.

"Now,We are free to be talking without minding Mr Johnson to see us" Jummy said.

"Yes exactly.I didn't know this teacher is so very nice like this.Infact I love him more today" I said

"Yes oh" Jummy said, exclamatorily.

I beamed joyfully.

"Have you finalized the dramatic story we are going to use on our graduation day?" Jummy asked.

I hummed, crooned and sighed.

What made me hummed was,On our graduation day,Me and Jummy would act as a couple; Jummy would be the queen and I would be the king.Her father would be there,Her mother would be there,My mum would be There too,But my father might not be there because he doesn't like to be attending occasions and ceremonies.

I wonder what would happen on that day.
