  Queen Thora noted the exchange between her daughter and the tall young servant. She also noticed his reddish-blonde hair and the faint glint of green under his rough-hewn tunic. A spark of recognition flashed in her mind. Where have you been all this time? She knew then that this was the Water Witch’s son. The young man was not supposed to be here.
