Liao, esteemed mercenary for the Kingdom of Kush, stood quietly in Gengshi’s private chambers, waiting for the Chancellor to arrive. He had been waiting for almost an hour, but he had grown used to this type of behavior from the arrogant leader of the Han Dynasty.
