"Hello?" I said.
"Hey, Mason told me Jade is joining us on our date?" Chris said from the other side of the line.
"No no, it's not Jade it's my little cousin Gavin, he came to my house to visit me but there is no one I can leave him with."
"Oh, I think Mason needs hearing aids."
"I expected that."
"Well, I guess it's fine by me."
I sighed in relief, "thanks and sorry."
I hung up and put my phone in my purse.
"You're blushing" Gavin informed me.
"Am not" I defended.
Gavin and Jade looked at each other before simultaneously whispering, "she is."
"I thought you guys didn't like each other," I said looking between Jade and him.
"We don't, it's just fun teasing you" Gavin smiled and Jade nodded in agreement.
"Anyways, date crasher, ready?" I smiled.
