The Hidden Hybrid

Welcome

After getting off the flight I'm greeted by Tyler, he's the youngest lecturer at Venefica-Lupus school for the gifted. He also happens to be my biological Half-Brother. We look nothing alike as he got all his looks from his father. he's tall about 6.3 with now short black hair and brown eyes, the last time I saw him he had his hair in a Afro but that was almost 10 years ago 

"little sister, oh how I have missed you" he said in his best fake English accent, I roll my eyes 

"  Oh my god, I missed you too" I say sarcastically in an American accent and we both laugh "Ready for your new life in the US?" he asks back in his normal accent while giving me a side hug and taking my bags. I sigh and hug him back "As ready as I'll ever be" we fall into a combatable conversation while driving to the university. 

"The campus is dead because no one else is here yet apart from the pack that lives here" I nod my head at Tyler  "The current alpha has just taken over about a month or so ago, his father thought it was time for him to take responsibility for the pack while he takes care of the school, especial for this year" I nod again, "this was the first year that the school was actually taking witches for higher learning. Venefica-lupus is basically a school for all ages but when the witches would turn 14 they would have to leave, its when we come into full control of our powers. This year they decided that they would be keeping witches over 14 and would also offer places to those they originally kicked out while some people jumped at the offer like your dads others went impressed and took their children out." Tyler explained  "but because there was a reduce in wolf it aloud them to take on more witches then they planed. Some classes are separated but that's because a wolf wont needed "how to cast a tracking spell 101"" I give him a look and he just laughs "what you don't know how to do a tracking spell? I thought you were one of the most powerful witches about" he said with a smile. I laugh "of course I can do a tracking spell, I just thought" I sigh "arg I don't know what I thought. I didn't expect to be in classes altogether, I had an idea that I had to mix up" I do air quotes "my courses so I can about both sides of me" Tyler laughs at me again "That would have been funny trying to see you say you got Wolf anatomy confused with tracking spells" I roll my eye "well f**k off then, I didn't know" he just laughs some more.

We arrive at the campus about 4 in the afternoon the suns shining bright over the castle like buildings that contain the main school. we drive round to the side where the pack house and the newly built lecture halls for the university part of the campus. 

"the older witches' are staying in the pack house with the older wolfs, for some reason Ezra thought it would be better having you all together than separate dorms houses like the younger ones" 

"Great so what I thought was a boarding house turns into a pack house, well at least i know they will have a decent gym here. I was worried about not being able to train at least now i can ask some wearer shewolfs to spar with" I reply Tyler gives me a funny look 

"a weak shewolf? you can probably take on the alpha and win" 

"yes but I think that might give away the wolf in me, I'm going to struggle not letting her out as it is, so I'm hoping fighting will make up for it even if I know I can beat them" 

Tyler makes an "o" shape and nods "well maybe you can explore and find somewhere to let her out later before we get to busy" 

"Maybe" 

we get out the car and are greeted by a girl and a boy, the girl has brown hair and the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen, well till I look at the boy next to her he had short dirty blond hair and the most emerald eyes ever, it wasn't till Tyler coughed I realised I was just staring in his eyes 

"s-sorry" I stuttered. The boy and girl just laugh 

"It's okay" the boy replied "You might be shocked but we get it a lot" I chuckle "It's just both your eyes are just this beautiful green, they're like hepatizing"  we all laugh after I say that.

the girl steps forward with her hand out "I'm Lou, I'm one of the pack wolfs" I shake her hand "I'm Callie-Rose but everyone just calls me Callie" there's a pause "oh I'm a witch, sorry" Lou shakes her head "no it isn't that I love your accent what part of Australia are you from?" I give her a strange look "you're kidding right, what wrong with yanks and accents" I turn to Tyler as he shrugs and try's to not laugh. He knows one thing I hate is when my accent get mistaken for Australian or New Zealand,(we sound nothing alike) I turn back to Lou "I'm from the south of England, the one in Europe" she nods her "sorry" with a small smile. The boy who must be her brother because of the similar facial features and eyes stands next to her "I'm Toby the Alpha" I bow my head slightly as a sign of respect, I look at what he's wearing blue jeans that hang on his waist and a white top that slightly see through showing his basically perfect body 

"what I would do to get off that shirt"  my wolf said, I roll my eyes "Keep it in your pants for god sakes we just got here" I reply to her. Lou and Toby give me a strange look, but don't say anything as a Hybrid my eyes don't actually gloss over when linking or talking to my wolf. 

"As a Witch, you are on the 2nd floor of the pack house, the first is the common room areas, gym and kitchen. The 3rd is for wolfs and the 4th is for the alpha" I nod my head and Lou speaks "if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask" she smiles. I pause to think then say "where can I practice magic ?" all three look a bit taken back, I look to Toby because as alpha he makes the decisions. He dose a nervous laugh "I haven't really thought about that" I raise my eyebrows at my old pack we had places where we could practice and couldn't mainly outside or places that can be easily cleaned if it goes wrong. "let me get back to you, any way is it that important to use your magic?" he asked I give him a look and say "I don't know, is it that important to let your wolf out" I ask back while crossing my arms across my chest. He laughs " touché"  

"why don't you get your bags and we can show you to your room" Lou said after a moment i nod my head and turn towards the car 

"oh I know what room I want to be in" my wolf goes again " are we going in heat or something Taylor?" I say to her while getting my bags. Tyler takes one and Toby holds his hand out "Let me take that" 

"you can take me any day"  Taylor purrs, I roll my eyes at her and follow into the pack house.
