It's printed in my mind. I should devour her because I owe her. Even if I devour her mercilessly, my pain won't suffice.

I know who she is. No one in my kingdom can ever dare knock on my door other than her. Even my father, the former Alpha King of the Kingdom, doesn't knock on the door. The guard sends me the signals through a remote that makes a tiny bulb above my door blink. It is a symbol of respect for me, the Alpha King of Moon-Wolfland Kingdom. But Stella, it's in our contract, or maybe some sort of promise to her that we will be friends and so-called the King thing isn't there between us. I get the remote lying on the table and press the door open.
