Chapter 3

{Kaly’s POV}

    I sit on the big rock, utterly broken hearted I watch Maddox walk away from me. Walk away from us. ‘What have I done?’ I let my temper and insecurities get the best of me. I think back to earlier today. When I not so brightly suggested 7 minutes in heaven. I almost f****d up a few hearts today.

    I start to cry and lay myself down on the rock. I cry out until I feel I can’t cry any more. The sun is setting, and it is starting to get really cold. I don’t care I can’t move. I don’t want to leave this place, because if I don’t leave, I can hold on to hope for Maddox and me. I fall asleep at some point.

    I wake up in the arms of my father. “Daddy?” I look up at him with puffy sleepy eyes. “Shhhh sweetie it’s ok. I’ve got you. I’ve always got you.” He smiles at me and I snuggle into his chest. He sets me down on my bed and covers me up. With a kiss on the cheek he leaves my room.

    I get up and go to the bathroom and pee, after I brush my teeth and wash my face. I walk out and take off my clothes and put on some warm pj pants and tank top. I climb into bed and let the numbness take me away.

    When I wake the sun is brightly shining through my window. I roll over and look at the clock. It’s freaking 12:03 in the afternoon. I get up and go to the bathroom and pee. Then I climb back in my comfy bed and flip on my TV. I don’t plan to leave this room at all today.

    I go through my streaming services and decide to watch The Notebook for the millionth time. I know it’s going to make me cry because I wish I had what they had, but I watch it and bawl my eyes out anyway.  When the movie ends, I tell myself to pick something upbeat and end up watching the Princess Bride instead.

    Halfway through the movie I get a text from Sara that she is coming up with ice cream and chocolate. She knows somethings up and she is coming to check on me. I hear her knock and I call her in. After she comes in and shuts the door, she sits next to me on the bed. 

    She sets the food on the nightstand and looks at me, “What’s up girl?” She asks with concern in her eyes. I instantly start crying. “Oh god, I knew something was wrong.” She says wrapping her arms around me. I sob and tell her everything and she listen’s without saying anything.

    When I finish telling her everything, I cry for a little while longer and she just sits and hugs me. Once I was done, she looks at me, “Do you want me to kill him?” I giggle. “No it’s my fault. I shouldn’t have assumed. Even if it looked bad, I should have talked to him before getting mad.” I sigh.

    “Babe he shouldn’t have walked away tho.” She half-smiles at me. “I know but maybe he’s right… maybe it’s for the best.” I shrug. “We will be friends tomorrow.” I shrug as one last tear falls.

    “Now how about you tell me about what I walked in on yesterday?” I say wiggling my eyebrows at her and she laughs. “oh just ya know… stuff.” She laughs and tells me all about how Jacob finally admitted to being her mate after she figured it out.

    “Wow I’m so happy for you babe.” I tell her as we stuff our faces with Chocolate chip Cookie dough ice cream. “But with him being my brother… maybe never tell me about the s*x part.” I cringe and she laughs at me.

    We hear a soft knock on the door, and it slowly opens and the boys pop in one at a time. Jacob, Garrett, and then an awful looking Maddox. He looks like I feel. People are definitely gonna put two and two together if we don’t straighten up.

    “Hey guys I say as cheery as I can.” I smile and I see Maddox look at me with shock. I wince a little, I hope he doesn’t think I’m not hurting just as bad. He saw my reaction and clearly knows I’m hurting too. “Hey little sis. What gives?” He asks with a goofy grin.

    “I’m fine just felt a little out of it after two rounds in the closet yesterday.” I sigh and wink at Garrett. Jacob growls, “Not funny Kaly.” We all bust out laughing, not Maddox tho. He stands a little farther away. Sara notices and squeezes my hand for comfort. “I’m probably gonna be called the pack w***e now.” Sara and Garrett laugh. Jacob and Maddox scowl. “Come on guys I’m not Trinity.” Maddox flinches when I say her name.

    “Yeah guys, we didn’t even do anything in the closet.” Garrett laughs and sits on the end of my bed. “Yeah, guys we just talked about Lylah.” I smile at them. “Well and some guy Kaly has been crushing on.” Garrett laughs and Jacob growls. Maddox just look wide eyed. “Who is he?” Maddox asks.

    “Yeah, who is this guy?” Jacob growls. “Garrett I’m gonna kill you.” I punch his arm. “Oowww Kaly damn. You didn’t have to hit me.” He says rubbing his arm. “Guys she didn’t tell me who, just that she has liked him forever and he super sexy and she hopes he is her mate.”

    I hit him again, harder. “Ooowwww KALY.” He yells. “Stop telling my business.” I shout at him. Everyone laughs even Maddox this time. He knows I was talking about him. There was another knock Maddox smiles, and opens the door. He turns around with 3 large pizzas. “I figured we could just eat dinner here together and watch movies.” He pulls The Conjuring from behind his back.

    They all climb on my bed, thank goddess it’s a king size bed. We sit in a circle and we eat pizza and talk, like old times. Maddox’s knee is touching mine and I feel at home. He smiles and we continue eating. After we have all had our fill of the pizza. Maddox gets up and puts in the movie. The sun has set so it’s getting dark outside.

    Jacob lays down on the far side of my bed propped up on the headboard and Sara snuggles up to his chest. Garret decides to lay on the bench seat in my window. I toss him a pillow. I’m next to Sara laying on my back. Maddox comes and lays down next to me. He props up on the headboard like Jacob.

    “You guys ready?” Maddox asks as he turns off the light and presses play on the remote. He puts his arm up behind his head. As the movie plays all is right in the world. Like we never had a falling out. The movie was good and creepy but then that little girls foot got pulled while she was sleeping, I put my face into Maddox’s chest and peeked from through my fingers.

    “Are you scared, you big baby?” He asked wrapping his arm around me. “Hey man no macking on my baby sister.” Jacob says with a raised eyebrow. “Shhhh” Garrett says from the window seat. “I’m just comforting the big baby.” Maddox laughs.

    After that movie is done, we all agree to watch something pleasant to keep me and Sara from having nightmares. So we choose Epic. We all took a pee break and stretched. It was cute and cheery. We all got so comfortable we fell asleep.

    After I realize everyone was asleep, I looked up at Maddox and his beautiful sleeping face. He wraps his arm around me again in his sleep and I snuggle into his chest and fell asleep. Suddenly woke up by my mother’s yelling. “What is going on in here?” My mother shouts.

    “Imagine my shock when I go to wake up my daughter and find her in bed with a boy.” My mom yells and we all sit up. “Mom calm down. Kaly was having a bad day yesterday and we all came in here to cheer her up. We ate pizza and watched movies.” He rubs his face as my dad comes in.

    “What is the meaning of this?” My dad shouts in his alpha voice. “Dad I just told mom. We came in here to have a pizza and movie night, we fell asleep. We are all friends have been for a while. Nothing happened.” Jacob yells.

    “Not all of us are just friends.” Sara says looking up at Jacob. She sniffs the air and sighs and blushes. “Good morning Mate.” Jacob greets smiling down at her and kisses her forehead. Sara giggles and mom and dad smile brightly. ‘Crisis everted!’ I think to myself.

    “Well you all need to go get ready for school.” My mom says to all of us and takes my dad’s arm and they walk out. Garrett smiles big and congratulates the new mates and runs out of the room. Sara and Jacob walk out and Maddox smiles at me and kisses my forehead before leaving.

    I smile to myself in the mirror of my bathroom and finish brushing my teeth and jump in the shower. After getting out of the shower I walk into my room and see a little box on my bed. I pick it up and open it. It’s a necklace the word MADLY spelled in cursive. ‘Wonder who this is from?’ I smile to myself and put it on thinking it’s from Maddox.

    I decide to wear the dress he bought me and put a nice cardigan over it and my favorite Justin boots. I head downstairs and my mom stops me. “Being cuddled up with that boy is unacceptable.” She tells me. “Mom it wasn’t like that.” I rub my face with my hands. “Better not have been.” She huffs.

    I ate quickly and ran back upstairs and put on some mascara and lip gloss. I walk out into the hall with Sara’s present. She and Jacob are coming out of his room smiling and giggling. “Happy Birthday Sis-in-law.” I shout. She jumps, squeals, and grabs the box. She opens it and looks at the dress and then looks at my dress and smiles. “I’m wearing this today. We can be twinsies.” She smiles and goes down to her room.

    Once she changes, I see we are in fact twining. I smile at her and she hugs Jacob. “Is everyone ready to go to school?” Jacob asks and we head downstairs knowing Garrett and Maddox would be downstairs. “So I wonder who’s going to ask me to be their Valentine today?” Sara smiles at me and we hear Jacob give a small growl as we walk out the door. 

    “So sis how does it feel to have a mate?” I put my hand to my forehead and fake swoon. Sara laughs at me. “Tingly. The touch of your mate is like little volts of electricity. But very good ones.” She says wiggling her eyebrows. “Gross.” I gag. “Subject change; what about your wolf? Have you met her yet?” I smile at her. “Not yet.” But I’m sure she’s just sleepy. She will come in before lunch, I bet.” She smiles back at me.

    “He smells like Honey. Literal honey.” She squeals. “Dork.” I roll my eyes at her as I climb in the back seat of the Jeep. Today I sit behind Jacob with Maddox in the middle and Garrett behind Sara. We ride and listen to music and sing all the way to school.

    Once at school we walk in and Maddox and I head to our lockers. “Hey, I wanted to ask, Do you like my necklace?” Maddox asks. I smile pulling it out of my sweater wear he can see I’m wearing it. “Yes.” I kiss his cheek. Maddox blushes and looks around.

    We head to class and the day flies by. I am on my way to lunch and suddenly I have a hand over my mouth, and I am being pulled into a classroom. I turn around to protest and see its Maddox.  He reaches behind me and locks the door and kisses me with longing.

    “What are you doing?” I ask pushing him back slightly. “I thought you wanted to be just friends and wait for our mates.” I ask confused. “I couldn’t do that if I wanted to. Not after I’ve been inside you.” He says stepping closer and kissing me again. This time I wrap my arms around his neck and lace my fingers in his hair.

    He moves his hand up under my dress and moves my panties to the side. “Mmmm nice and wet already.” He states as he slides his fingers into me, and I moan against his lips. He backs up and looks down at me. “Tell me who’s p***y this is Kaly.” He demands thrusting his fingers in me and I moan. “Words Kaly. Tell me.” He demands again. “Yours.” I say breathlessly.

    He begins kissing me and pulls his fingers from me and licks them and then kisses me while undoing his pants. He picks me up and I wrap my legs around him. He pushes my panties to the side again and enters me quickly. He places my back on the door and starts slamming into me and I cry out. “I know it’s hard, but you have to be quiet baby.” He slams into me and I whimper trying not to moan.

    “This is going to be quick. Hold on.” He starts f*****g me hard and fast. In seconds I’m over the edge and cumming. I bite the back of my hand to stifle the moan. He slams into me and I feel his seed flow into me. My eyes widen and his do too. But for two different reasons.

    He pulls us both to the floor. “Sorry baby but I think your brother just saw us.” He looks up at the window on the door trying to see if anyone is looking in. “Maddox.” I say in shock. “What babe?’ He asks not looking at me. “Maddox.” I say again. “What babe.” This time he looks at me. “You came inside of me.” I say freaking out on the inside. His eyes widen in horror as he realizes what just happened.

    “Oh f**k. Baby I’m so sorry. I didn’t do it on purpose please forgive me.” He looks into my eyes with worry. “Maddox, I think I need to go to the bathroom. Now.” Maddox stands and helps me up and I head out the door. I run to the bathroom feeling some of it coming out and down my leg. First, I try to wipe myself clean then I sit and let it drip out. Hopefully, most of it came out and I don’t have to worry.

    I walk out the stall and wash my hands and head to the cafeteria. ‘What was Maddox thinking?’ I shake my head to clear it as I walk in to find my friends and Maddox there. I go to get some food and Maddox comes up behind me in line. “Please say you’ll forgive me. I didn’t do it on purpose I swear.” He begs and pleads. “It’s ok Maddox we will deal with whatever happens.” I say to him.

    We walk out with our food trays. “I love you, Kaly.” I hear Maddox whisper. I turn to face him in shock. “I do.” He shrugs. “The necklace has two meanings. I love you MADLY, and MAD from Maddox and LY from Kaly.” He smiles. “I love you too Maddox.” I smile brightly and walk to the table of our friends.

    “So Sara?” I arch my eyebrow at her. “Her name is Elise, and she is a chatter box.” Sara rolls her eyes. “I can’t wait for you to see her.” I say excitedly. “On another note is everyone ready for Beseech day tonight?” I ask looking mainly at Garrett. He isn’t listening tho he is off in la la land staring at Lylah. We all laugh, and he finally looks our way. “What’s so funny?” He asks and we all laugh harder.

    After lunch we all go to our classes. I have Chemistry, and I have it with Maddox. He slides down in the seat next to me. He leans over and whispers in my ear, “I love you Kalysta Tru, and I pray you are my mate. I swear I’ll die if you’re not.” He leans back and smiles.

    I lean to his ear, “I love you too Maddox, and I feel the same way.” I lean back and smile the biggest smile at him. I hear someone cough and I turn to see Tanner. “You look beautiful today Kaly.” He smiles and hands me a rose. “I’ll see you tonight.” He says walking away.

    “Who the hell does that guy think he is?” Maddox asks angrily. “He’s no one baby. Just worry about if you beat him to asking me tonight.” I smirk and he looks at me shocked. “You’re not seriously thinking of accepting that losers date if he asks first, are you?” Maddox asks shock apparent on his face.

    “No way baby I will only say yes to you.” I smile. “Do you know why?” I ask acting innocent. “No why?” He smiles. “Because baby this…” I say rubbing my hand up my thigh moving my dress higher, and his eyes are watching and his breathing changes, “is yours.” I say touching my panties. Maddox almost falls out in the floor.

    “Do you know what else?” I ask looking dead in his eyes. “What?” He asks swallowing hard. “If you’re my mate, I want you to put a pup in me as soon as possible.” I smile and brush my hand over his stiffening member as his mouth falls open.
