Reign was caught off guard "What?!" She said backing away from him "Marry me?" He said looking at her with a very serious expression on his handsome face. "Sir we just met....I don't even know who you are?" He smirked "I'm Joshua Washington." She gasped as she realized who had just asked for her hand in marriage. Joshua Washington was the youngest most payed Billionaire in the country. He had business's all over the word. Hotel chains, restaurants, Car empires, acting agencies. Just about anything you can think of he's invested in or started on his own. She was shocked but she wasn't just some gold digging tramp. "I don't want your money" she exclaimed insulted "You misunderstand me....I actually know all about your. Your the youngest person to receive a Nobel prize in science for your studies and research on breast cancer. You and your team are trying to create a cure" "I..." he continued "I also know that your twenty for years old and received your PhD at fourteen right before your mother passed away from cancer" "Um...?" She was confused how did one of the most powerful men in the world know all about her. "I also know that you were supposed to be saying I do to the senator about...." He checked his watch "Two hours ago." He finally finished his rant about her. "I apologize miss Wilcox if this all to much, but my father is pushing for me to find a bride or he will arrange one for me" Reign had a strangely good feeling about him. She thought about it for a second and nodded her head "Alright...but can we not make this relationship public,just yet?" She asked he nodded in agreement "I also have a request from you..." The two exited the bathroom together where a Three young men were waiting for Mr. Washington. Two of them were standing behind the wall with black sunglasses on. They seemed to be his bodyguards. They began to come for Reign when they saw how close she was Joshua. "Don't you lay a finger on her. This is the future Mrs. Washington" The two men simply nodded and returned to their post. The smaller man was holding a folder to his chest and seemed to be confused. She guessed thus was his personal assistant. "Edwin prepare the presidential suite, call the judge, and have someone bring Dr.Wilcox a set of clean and comfortable clothes." The man nodded and began to scramble. "Dr.Wilcox?" he offered her his arm and she nervously took it as they headed for the elevators.

Simone finally picked herself up off the bathroom floor. She held her cheek which was already beginning to turn purple from the administered snack given by Vanessa "That b***h!...Everyone us always on Reigns side. what about me?" Darius rolled his eyes "Shut up! Please Simone...My reputation will be ruined if this gets out...I shouldn't have dud this dammit....Fuck. I have no choice but to marry you" Simone was shocked but pleased with himself and she didn't even have to fake her pregnancy as she planned to do in the near future. "Let's go then baby" she said fixing her hair and grabbing onto his arm. She pulled him to aisle where her father was waiting....he didn't seem to be confused at what was happening "You insolent girl!! What have you done?!" Simone was afraid of her father and she saw he was livid, so she quickly composed herself "Papa...Reign left the senator at the alter...." "Your lieing but if this is really what you two want I will not be apart of this. Do as you wish but I'm going to find your sister" He said as he turned to leave "Papa...wait....If you were going to walk Regin down why can't you do the same for me? I am your Eldest after all" She looked at him with sad pleading eyes.He looked at her with ice cold eyes. "Very well, only because it is my duty as a father" he said taking her arm reluctantly and escorting her down the aisle.

Back at the hotel, Reign was in the luxurious bathroom in the presidential suite, washing her face and changing into a pair of jeans and a t-shirt someone brought for her. A maid knocked on the bathroom door "Miss...I mean Mrs.Washigton. what shall I do with this gown. "....Burn it....please" she said softly "As you wish" she said leaving with the wedding dress in hand. Joshua stopped the maid before she left. The maid was a old friend that had pretty much raised the young man. "How is she?" He whispered. The older woman smiled at him and patted his hand "Be patient with her she seems to be a tough girl" He smiled and nodded "Thank Diana" Reign found herself on the bathroom floor unable to hold in the emotions and stress of the day. "Dr.Wilcox are you ok?" He knocked on the door gently. For some reason his heart broke hearing her cry through the door. "I'm coming in" he said when he realized she forgot to lock the door. He opened the door to See his beautiful little bride sitting in the middle of the floor sobbing. Her phone was open to a picture of the senator whom she was supposed to marry and a woman who looked remarkably like her. "Is this your sister...?" He asked her with sadness on his voice. She nodded "I could care less about him...but my own blood...she betrayed me" Joshua didn't know why. He had met this gorgeous woman only one hour ago and she had become everything to him. He'd protect her with everything he had. "Dr.Wilcox the floor is quite cold.Come have some dinner. I've ordered out..."He took her phone and placed it in his pocket after he switched it of. "No more of that...it is our wedding night after all Dr.Wilcox" Reign smiled sadly at him. He seemed to be a kind man. "...Reign.Just call me Reign" she said as she let him help her off the ground "That won't do...It's a beautiful name true enough...but I want to call you something only i may call. I don't plan to let you go unless it is your wish of course." She shook her head "Well my mama would always call me her little angel. Since her passing I've not let another soul call me that. If you like the honor could belong to you" She wasn't sure why she was willing to share that with him. Oddly she was very coming with him. "Very well I shall call My angel...but I would like to earn the right to call you that. I promise that I will earn your trust,respect and love" He said these words with so much compassion in his eyes. She was truly touched by his words. She wasn't ready to love him yet, but she felt like she would give herself to him soon. Something in eyes changed as he looked at the sweet innocent look on her face. He grabbed her waist and pushed her against the door "Careful Mrs.Washington...I may be a gentleman like prince charming...but if you don't stop looking at me like that with those beautiful Hazel eyes. I may have to turn into the beast." He almost growled the words in her ear. Her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. "....What did you order for dinner?" She asked nervously trying to change the subject. He gently ran his thumb over her bottom lip and pushed her question to the back burner. "I promise to wait until you are ready to be mine...Make no mistake once your ready, I will not go easy on you. You may not be able to walk for a while. As for dinner I have Edwin to bring up something from the reastraunt" He laughed seeing her cute brown little cheeks turning red with embarrassment. He opened the door behind her and lead her to the dining room. As Edwin brought in the dinner she realized it was all food she liked. She smiled at the man "Thank you Edwin!" She said warmly. He was caught off guard "Oh....Of course Mrs..." "just call me Reign" Edwin looked at Joshua a little puzzled, he simply nodded "If that's what she wants, it's fine. Whatever she wants she will get" He said nonchalantly uncovering a plate if homemade meatloaf "Well your welcome Reign. Please call if you need anything" She nodded "You really do know everything about me?" She said as she opened another plate that had lasagna. Her favorite. "Well your in the public eye , and your intelligence, caught my eye. If you had been anyone else I would not had made my offer. But I think I made a good decision today" He said eating his food "I could have cooked for you, you know?" She said "One day you can,but you have a career and I have people to take care of that, but we have a few things I'd like to discuss" Reign shook her head "My mother had a rule...No business during dinner. It's something I'd like to enforce with my own family" Joshua smiled brightly at her. Coming from a family that was powerful business was all they talked about "As you wish dear"
