Joshua growled in displeasure, but he softened his eyes as he looked at Reign's worried expression. "Little one, you don't have to see him if you don't want to, Ed can send him away" Reign sighed as she felt his grip tighten on her waist. "N..no...I'll see him" she said hesitantly. Joshua kissed her lips gently "I'll wait in the conference room until he leaves. don't be afraid" he said squeezing her hand. She slide off his lap and fixed herself as he walked out. she clasped the necklace on her and pulled herself together "you can send him in Edwin" she said gracefully sitting behind her new desk. His colonge made its way into her office before he did. Reign looked up at the handsome man in front of her, though she couldn't deny he looked good he was nothing completely to Joshua. she took in a deep breath as she looked up at him "Good to see I still effect you sunbeam" Reign tolled her eyes as she became annoyed "You lost every right to call me that the moment you put your little d**k inside my sister" she snapped at him , he was taken aback by her harsh comment. The sweet innocent girl he knew would never say such words to him. "Did you come here for something, or just to rub in the fact that you cheat on everyone your with" she said as she noticed the pink lipstick on his collar. She may be at odds with her sister but she knew that wasn't her lipstick color on his shirt. "Now now little sunbeam I just came to congratulate you on your promotion..." he paused as he noticed the bouquet of flowers on her desk. Reign hadn't even payed attention to them yet. He stood up and looked at the card on the top "Congratulations my little angel, I have dinner plans at eight" he read the card aloud, she already knew who it was from and it caused her to smile with a little blush on her cheeks. "DID YOU CHEAT ON ME?!" She was brought back to reality by her ex yelling at her. she saw the jealousy flash across his fast. Reign looked up at him outraged, but she kept calm and breathed out a little puff of air "How dare you accuse me of your treacherous acts...just because someone is now trying to heal the heart you broke that does not give you the right to accuse me of anything. you cheated on me...with my own blood..." she paused as she could feel tears starting to form in her eyes "Please leave my office" she finally got out. "This.." he gestured to her "Whatever is happening this new you. I don't like it. The sweet innocent girl I once knew is gone. I miss her" Reign looked up at him not daring to break in front of him "Many will. She was easier to manipulate" His look darkened as he looked at her "This isn't over sunbeam, you will come back crawling to me" Reign scoffed "I believe Doctor Wlcox asked you to exit sir." Edwins voice brought a wave of relief "She has more...important matters to attend to" he said eyeing him distastefully. "Goodbye" Darius threw the card on her desk and stormed out furiously. Reign fell on the couch close to a breakdown. Edwin quickly ran out to get Joshua. Soon Reign was engulfed in a warm comforting hug "Little one I promise you, I'll never let anyone hurt you again. I don't care if we do get divorced. I will bring hell to earth before someone hurts you, do you understand?" She nodded as she sniffed. when she finally pulled away it was almost noon. "I'm sorry Josh, you probably have things to do" He shook his head "No, your more important to me" she looked up at him in shock. No one has ever told her that before. Her heart nearly leapt from her chest. She smiled at him, she could definitely fall in love with him. "By the way little one...This new you, is beautiful" she kissed his cheek gently "You have to get to work and so do I, I will see you for dinner" she said finally standing up from him. He chuckled as he pushed off the couch."I'll tell the driver to bring you to my office after work maybe I can convince you to take a tour and maybe have a little dessert before dinner" he whispered the last part in her causing her to shake in pleasure. He lightly spanked her ass "Be a good girl" Joshua whispered before he left her in her office alone. Reign's body had began to ache, she didn't want him to leave, truthfully she was thinking how she wanted him physically. Reign finally regained her composure as she began working on putting the company back together while still going through her research. It was a long day but finally the clock said six forty five and Reign began to pack up her work and headed downstairs to the front where Edwin and the driver were waiting for her, "Doctor Washington" Edwim said opening the door for her. Reign slide in and sat there opening her notebooks still working on some equations and formulas, finally the car stopped outside one if Joshua's Many offices. She got out of the car and walked to the recpionist desk. The woman was a tall leggy blonde with long straight hair and baby blue eyes, she looked as if she had some work done to her face but Reign was going to ignore that. She was wearing a pale pink shirt that was unbuttoned so low that you could see the lace from her vibrant red lingerie. Reign smiled Politiley as she cleared her throat "I'm here to see Mr.Washington" the girl looked Reign up and down with a look of disgust 9n her face. "Do you have a appointment?" She snapped. Reign saw that she was going to be a problem, she crossed her arms "No, but he is expecting me. Could you please call and tell him Dr...." The girl let out a high pitched laugh "Please there's no way Mr.Washington. would associate himself with anyone...like you" Reign had a crappy morning and tense day, therefore when she reached across the desk and grabbed the woman by her hair, she didn't feel a ounce of regret. "Listen...and listen well you little tramp..." the girl shrieked out in terror "Learn how to talk to people, I could be someone very important to Joshua, you could have just cost him a business deal...You should really learn some respect, I have had a really crappy day, so I suggest when I let you go , you fix yourself and your attitude before I fix your face, got it blondie?" The woman squeaked out a horrified yes as Reign released her. "Now! Let's start over, I'm Doctor Reign Wilcox here for Mr.Washington" The girl glared at her still clearly with a attitude but she kept it to herself and picked up the phone calling upstairs. "Mr.Washingtons assistant said please come up" Reign smiled politely and walked pass her desk "Thank you dear. See now that wasn't to difficult was it?" She asked heading to the elevator. As she stepped inside she realized she didn't get his floor, but she wasn't stupid so she assumed it was the top floor. "Floor twenty four" she said pressing the button as the elevator went up. Reign found herself lost in her thoughts as the elevator carried her up. It dinged and she stepped off. The only person still there was a tall handsome young man about Twenty Five, he smiled a flirty smile at Reign "Can I help you?" He asked as he raked his eyes over her body. She became a little uncomfortable "I...I'm here to see Mr. Washington," he smirked as he walked away to go find Joshua, Reign prayed that he wouldn't come back alone. She sighed out a breath of relief as she saw her handsome husband's face came into view. He extended his arm and she happily took it "Come now my little one, there is someone I'd like you to meet" he said as he walked her to his office. As she walked in she saw a beautiful young woman with long golden hair and the same enchanting blue eyes as Joshua. The beautiful woman instantly stood up and smiled seeing Reign "Joshie,You didn't do her beauty justice. This woman is breathtaking...I may just have to try to steal her away" The only thing Reign could do was blush as she heard Joshua's voice respond in a annoyed tone "You will do no such thing" he said putting a protective arm around Reign. She couldn't help the little smile that appeared on her lips, nor could she stop the words that followed "Don't worry darling someone's will have to pry me away from you" He smiled in her neck gently. The girl in the room cleared her throat "Well since my rude big brother won't introduce me I suppose I'll do it. I'm Everly Washington. The baby of the family." she said holding out her hand for Rrign to shake. Reign happily shook her hand "Your beautiful as well Everly...Erm...Joshua made dinner plans tonight but I want to make a good impression on you all so would you like to join us this evening?" Reign could tell that Joshua became a bit nervous at the suggestion but Everly overly excitedly replied "I'd love to!!! let me just call my girlfriend, it'll be a double date" Reign smiled as she watched her run out the office. "I adore your sister" He sighed as he turned Reign around to face him. "I think it's safe to say that you have no idea what you've just gotten yourself into" he said gently kissing her forehead.
