Elise paced back and forth outside Olivia's ward, holding the iPad closer to her. She no longer knew what to do because Olivia had already shut her mouth about it. Elise remembered Franko saying in his usual firm voice, "You need to read the contents inside that iPad, Miss Cortez." And yet, Elise couldn't bring herself to do that. After being informed that someone was trying to kill her, she felt disoriented and paranoid.
Olivia had appeared calm, but Elise had seen anger in the CEO's eyes. And seeing that was more than Elise could bear. If those bullets were not only meant to shoot the CEO, then why her?
