Elise had almost dropped her jaw when she heard Olivia's announcement. "Y-you aren't kidding, are you?"
She somehow hoped that she had just misheard everything. But Olivia only smirked at her and gave her a peck on the lips. "Go, get ready. I'll just have to check on Grandma."
It took her quite some time to grasp the situation. Olivia was serious about this arrangement.
"Miss Elise," someone called from outside her door. Elise jolted from her seat and went to see who was knocking. Upon opening it, she saw Manang Selya's cheerful face. "What is it, Manang Selya?"
The kind cook smiled lovingly at her before replying, "The Fabiens and your Aunt are already waiting for you in the dining room."
"Okay, Manang. Please tell them I'm still in the shower."
