Damn Woman

736 Words
Fu Yichen’s thoughts were clouded with frustration, and with a sharp motion, he crushed the cigarette in his hand. He gave a cold command: "Send a woman in." Ten minutes later, the door opened. A young girl entered, her long black hair cascading down her back, wearing the same white bodycon dress as Su Mi. Fu Yichen was leaning against the headboard, his gaze falling upon the girl. He noticed immediately that, in both appearance and demeanor, she resembled the woman he'd just thrown out. The similarities between this girl and Su Mi were uncanny, and Fu Yichen's eyes darkened slightly. The girl, clearly more experienced than Su Mi, gracefully walked to the bed. She cast a shy glance at Fu Yichen before turning to sit on the edge of the bed. Slowly, she raised a slender hand and lightly placed it on his crossed legs, testing his reaction. When Fu Yichen didn’t stop her, the girl looked up at him, her breath catching as she took in his seductive, almost divine presence. Even lying still, his body exuded a raw, unspoken allure. Her cheeks flushed crimson. But no matter how hard she tried to please him, he remained cold as ice. The girl’s expression faltered, her face showing slight panic as she leaned closer, preparing to try again. But before she could act, a loud cry rang out. "Ah!" With a harsh thud, the girl, who had been draped over Fu Yichen like a snake, was suddenly kicked away. She flew through the air and slammed into the wall, her body crumpling to the floor. She gasped, clutching her abdomen, unable to recover from the impact. "Get out!" Fu Yichen’s low, chilling voice echoed through the room, filled with contempt. The girl, too frightened to even ask what she had done wrong, scrambled away, not daring to make another sound. She hurriedly fled the presidential suite. At T City's First People's Hospital, Su Mi had changed into fresh clothes and walked into the hospital room, where Zhou Qingyang was peacefully sleeping. The room was a high-end suite, lit by a warm, dim light. On the side bed, Jiabao and Jiabei were snuggled up together, their heads resting against each other, fast asleep. Their little faces were flushed, like two quiet, rosy apples squeezed together. A wave of tenderness washed over Su Mi. All the frustration and sorrow from earlier seemed to vanish in an instant. She bent down and kissed each child’s forehead gently. As she straightened up, she noticed that Zhou Qingyang had woken up at some point. He was lying on the bed, a warm smile on his face as he looked at her and the children. Their eyes met, and for a moment, Su Mi froze. The smile on Zhou Qingyang's face was soft and comforting, like a spring breeze. His voice was gentle, "You're back?" The simplicity of his words made Su Mi feel the warmth of home, and her eyes welled up as her heart raced a little faster. She nodded, walking toward him. She leaned down to adjust his blanket. "How was today?" Zhou Qingyang propped himself up with his arm, and Su Mi quickly slid her hand under his armpit to help him. Over the past few days, she had become accustomed to this routine. Zhou Qingyang inhaled deeply, savoring the scent of her, almost greedily. But before he could hold onto the moment, she had already moved away, placing a cushion behind him. A flicker of longing passed through his heart. "I'm fine, don't worry. I slept a lot during the day, so now I can't seem to fall back asleep." Su Mi pulled a chair over to the bed, sitting down beside him. As her eyes met his warm gaze, she smiled playfully and winked. "Then, may I have the honor of inviting Brother Zhou to chat? How about an apple?" "Sure," Zhou Qingyang answered, his eyes softening even more as he watched Su Mi's bright, cheerful face. This silly girl, always rushing out early and coming back late, tirelessly searching for a matching bone marrow for him. Even Jiabao and Jiabei had been taken care of by his assistant, Wang Cheng, during these days. She didn’t even let Wang Cheng tell him, only saying that she was busy with school and preparing for graduation. Zhou Qingyang's heart swelled with warmth, moved by her dedication.
