“Dr. Labell, are you okay?” Natasha asked with concern upon noticing William’s grim expression and sudden silence.
“Yes, I’m fine.”
“Don’t worry about it. A miscarriage is a very normal thing in modern society. Your wife can recuperate and take care of her body. She will be able to get pregnant again after resting for half a year. Both of you are still very young. There’s nothing that you can’t overcome,” Natasha said comfortingly because she was worried about William’s state of mind.
Just when William was about to say something, Natasha seemed to have seen something. She signaled for William to look in the direction of the operating room while saying, “Your wife should be coming out now. You should go over and comfort her. This is definitely a heavy blow to her.”
