Emily’s POV
The wind blew on my face while my stepfather dragged me by my hands running through the castle gates.
“Where are we going?” My voice came out scared.
He didn’t reply or say anything to me. He continued to drag me along with him. My eyes looked back at the gate and found the gates not even looking in our direction.
My heart began to beat against my chest. Something felt off and unreal and fear started to creep into me.
“You will see it!” he said.
“No! I don’t want to go again!” We went too far now.
He didn’t even look back at me, but he was using so much force to drag me along with him. My wrists hurt from all that. He finally turned and looked at my worried face and there was a grin on his old face.
