Avery’s POV.
The weather felt brighter this morning. It was just 5:30am and everywhere was already becoming clear. The weather these days is extremely cold at night and the day is often too bright even for the time.
I stood on my bed determined to do all I had thought of late at night after my boyfriend had gone. I was so shocked and, quite honestly, never imagined that girl Emily ending up with an Alpha. I didn’t care what mother and father said or how much effort they both put in, in trying to console me and make me feel better, she was taking care of me and it seemed he loved her even.
Standing with my back against my bed, I went to my table and sat under the starry light. Picking a pen and paper, I decided to write to him.
